The Captains
Captain Keith Leggett and Captain Jason Rose have a combined total of 24 years fishing experience on Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie. Keith and Jason are crazy about fishing and greatly enjoy watching the excitement of a person latch onto a monster catfish. Both are US Coast Guard approved captains as well as CPR and First Aid certified.

The Boats
Keith and Jason's Catfish Guide service utilizes large walk around cuddy cabins. Both Jason's 22 foot and Keith's 25 foot cuddy cabin have hard tops and window enclosures (to protect from the elements), state of the art electronics and a heater when necessary.
Santee Cooper
The Santee Cooper lake system of south-central South Carolina consists of two lakes: Moultrie at 60,400 acres, and Marion at 110,600 acres. The two lakes are joined by a 6.5 mile Diversion Canal. The lakes were created between 1939 and 1942 to produce hydroelectric power. The lake system is commonly referred to as "Santee Cooper", because the Santee River and Cooper River were connected to create the lakes.
The lakes vary from extremely shallow swamps to large open areas with depths of over 30 feet. With pristine beauty and abundant wildlife, the lakes are a big lure to outdoorsman. In 1964, Blue catfish came to Santee Cooper when a total of 825 fish weighing about a pound each were obtained from Arkansas in exchange for striped bass.
The lakes don't ice over in winter and have produced record game fish, including record Arkansas Blue Catfish (109.4 lbs) and Channel Catfish (58 lbs). There is no closed season for fishing, so weather permitting, fishermen can fish year-round.
